About Dr. Barbara Bigsby Boyd

Dr. Barbara Bigsby Boyd was born on January 31, 1937. Her professional experience includes work as a lifelong educator, community leader, as well as civic and social club member. Dr. Boyd worked at Weaver Junior High from 1970 to 1985, Calhoun County Training School from 1962 to 1970, and JW Darden High School from 1960 to 1962. Dr. Boyd has also worked at Jacksonville State University, Gadsden State University, and served as an Associate Professor in the College of Education at Miles College. Dr. Boyd has two children and currently resides in her hometown of Anniston, Alabama.
